JOB TITLE: Senior Manager – Accounts

DEPARTMENT: Finance & Accounts

REPORTS TO: Chief Operating Officer / Chief Financial Officer

LOCATION: Bengaluru

NATURE OF ROLE: Office-based with occasional coordination across departments

Key Responsibilities:

1. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and decision support.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as HR, Procurement, and Operations to align financial planning and reporting.

  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.

    2. Capacity Building

  • Lead, mentor, and upskill the accounts and finance team.

  • Drive automation, digital tools adoption, and process improvements.

  • Ensure documentation integrity and knowledge sharing across departments.

    3. Reporting and Documentation

  • Oversee preparation of financial statements, audit schedules, and MIS reports.

  • Ensure timely and accurate statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).

  • Manage budgeting, variance analysis, donor reporting (if applicable), and fund utilization.

    4. General Responsibilities

  • Lead external and internal audits and handle regulatory filings.

  • Monitor and enforce internal financial controls and risk mitigation processes.

  • Optimize working capital and cash flow management, and support investment planning.

Qualifications & Experience

  • CA / CMA / MBA in Finance / ICWA or equivalent qualification.

  • 10–12 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial leadership roles.

  • Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, taxation, and statutory compliance.

  • Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, sustainability, or social enterprise sectors is preferred.

  • Proficient in accounting tools such as Tally, Zoho, or similar ERP systems.

Skills Required

  • Financial analysis and forecasting expertise.

  • Strategic mindset with ability to execute hands-on.

  • Risk management, compliance, and internal audit proficiency.

  • Strong team leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Attention to detail, high documentation standards, and integrity.
