• Partnered with Plastics for Change on Earth Day 2023 through the "Back-To-M·A·C" takeback program to reduce plastic waste.

• This enables the collection over 550,000 pounds of plastic (equivalent to 12.5 million bottles) from India’s coast.

• Supported approximately 200 plastic collectors and their communities with social services for a year.

• In 2024, M·A·C’s brand influencers and Viva Glam Ambassador Bhumi Pednekar visited the aggregation center in Mangalore, participated in waste segregation, and collected plastic waste from streets and oceans.

• Bhumi Pednekar joined a beach cleanup drive during the visit.

• On Earth Day 2024, M·A·C announced 100% proceeds from their iconic lipstick would support Plastics for Change.
