JOB DESCRIPTION

Plastics For Change is now growing and developing a B2B merchandise portfolio made out of recycled Polyester and is looking to aggressively grow pan India within corporates, institutions, brands, and e-commerce. The sales associate’s primary role would be to generate sales of T-shirts, bags, backpacks, and accessories made of recycled polyester with an environmental and social story. Associate has to engage with corporates, institutions, e-com players, and apparel brands to generate sales.

DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve given sales targets of Merchandize (T-shirts, Bags & accessories made of rPoly)

  • Develop a strong pipeline of customers with clear visibility of sales projections for the year

  • Generate leads across various verticals including corporates, institutions, brands and e-com platforms by cold calling, emailing, and reaching out to them in person

  • Build relationships and manage key accounts for continuous growth

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of PFC’s core value proposition

  • Develop trust and rapport with any existing opportunities and capitalize on all leads to close business quickly

  • Work with the design team to share market inputs & get things designed in a timely and orderly manner

  • Work closely with the marketing team on consumer insights and advertising campaigns to promote/launch new products.

  • Ensure sampling, reporting and order fulfillment as per the client’s expectation

  • Execute upon existing sales strategies and ensure delivery of targets

    General responsibilities:

  • Ensure professionalism at all times and demonstrate exemplary prioritization of workload skills.

  • Ensure that the PFC policies, SOPs and protocols are being adhered to at all levels of the company.

  • Ensure strict adherence to data confidentiality and security.

  • Willingness to travel frequently across PFC site locations, sometimes at short notice, including other places as per need of project or the company.

  • Work closely with the PFC team and Partners.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate with 4+ years’ of experience in corporate and institutional Sales preferably from textile background

  • Experience of generating b2b sales from corporates, Institutions, e-com and other b2b establishments

  • Proven track record of building their own pipeline of opportunities for business development and selling into medium to large accounts

  • Should be able to manage expectation of the customer and supply chain stakeholders

  • Go getter attitude, proactive in reaching out to the customers and pitch the relevant products

  • Good networking and negotiating skills

  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers

  • Ability to work remotely and fast turnaround time

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create results driven, team-oriented environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
