Similar to fair trade agriculture, our platform creates transparency and accountability from the base of the supply chain to the store shelf. This results in more efficient shared-value chains and  higher quality recycled plastic. We provide expertise to help catalyze brands and manufacturers to replace the use of virgin plastic with ethically sourced recycled plastic, thereby immediately improving the social and environmental impact of their products.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

Quality Control

  1. Ensure batch segregation is carried out as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

  2. Carry out on site Quality Control Checks as per SOP

  3. Ensure zero defect material to clients

  4. Record Quality checks on to the platform

  5. Work closely with  franchise partners in improving Quality Assurance process

  6. Escalate Quality deviations to the immediate supervisor

  7. Carry out a detailed analysis in case of  deviations in quality , work with franchise team

Compliance :

  1. Ensure operations are carried out in compliance with local laws w.r.t  health, safety and environment

  2. Ensure safe and hygienic work conditions at aggregation centres, Dry Waste Collection Centres (DWCC) and scrap shops

  3. Ensure minimum wage compliance at the stakeholder level

  4. Support Operations team in carrying out periodic assessment of sustainable sourcing charter across the supply chain

Capacity Building:

  1. Conducting one-to-one capacity building to strengthen stakeholders working capacity w.r.t PFC SOP

  2. Conducting one-to-one CRM (mobile technology) training for stakeholders

  3. Creating awareness and sensitising stakeholders on statutory compliances and policies with help from experts

Reporting and Documentation:

  1. Maintaining various due-diligence and other required documentation at stakeholder level, managing, monitoring and reviewing it periodically

  2. Ensuring timely, concise and accurate reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis on prescribed formats

  3. Ensuring timely, concise and accurate CRM updates and also ensuring stakeholders are updating it regularly

General responsibilities:

  1. Ensure professionalism at all times and demonstrate exemplary prioritisation of workload skills

  2. Ensure that the PFC policies, SOPs and protocols are being adhered to at all levels of the company

  3. Ensure strict adherence to data confidentiality and security

  4. Willingness to travel frequently cross Bengaluru city, sometimes at short notice, including other places as per need of project or company

  5. Work closely with PFC team and Partners

Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in environment sector/quality

  • Good understanding of quality assurance and quality control process  

  • Basic knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment legislations and compliance requirements  

  • Understanding of plastics supply chain would be an added advantage

  • Past Experience of working in the fields of  Waste Management, Environment Sector will be helpful

  • Fluency in Kannada, Hindi languages (Tamil-optional) and moderate English working Knowledge


  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently on projects /assignments

  • Open to new challenges

  • Good data management, documentation and reporting skills

  • Good computer skills โ€“ MS Office and Working on CRM

  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks

  • Eye for detail

  • Able to learn new systems, methods, processes and procedures

  • Able to meet deadline and produce quality outputs

INR 2,16,000- 3,60,000/Annum, Performance Bonus, Medical Insurance and Fixed Travel Allowance
